How consent works at SimplyWell
We ask for consent in separate, plain steps, not hidden in one long form. Each consent is optional unless it is needed to deliver the service itself, and we will tell you clearly when that is the case. You can see and change your choices at any time by emailing info@simplywellhealth.com.
The consents we ask for
| Consent | What it allows | Needed for the service? |
|---|---|---|
| Screening and clinical review | Collecting your samples and measurements, lab analysis, and review of results by licensed clinicians | Yes |
| Health action plan and support | Using your results to build your plan and providing digital and human follow up | Yes, for the support programme |
| Reminders and nudges | Sending booking reminders, check ins and retest prompts by your chosen channel | No |
| Wearable and device data | Importing data from a device you choose to connect | No |
| Sharing with your doctor | Sending your results to a clinician you name | No |
| Identified sharing with your insurer | Sharing named results or programme status with your insurer, for example to enrol you in a chronic care pathway | No |
| Anonymised research and improvement | Using your data, with identifiers removed, to improve our programmes | No |
What your employer receives
If your employer sponsors your participation, they receive aggregate, anonymised reporting only. That means totals and percentages across groups, never individual names, results or risk levels. We do not report on groups so small that a person could be identified. There is no consent you can be asked to give through your employer that changes this.
What your insurer receives
By default, insurers also receive aggregate, anonymised reporting only. Identified sharing happens only if you give a separate, explicit consent, and you can refuse without losing access to your screening.
AI supported guidance
Some engagement, triage and guidance features use AI tools that work within limits set by our clinical team. AI does not make diagnoses and does not replace clinicians. Where something in your results needs attention, it is escalated to a person. You can ask for any automated output that affects you to be reviewed by a human.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw any optional consent at any time by emailing info@simplywellhealth.com, and we will act on it within 5 working days. Withdrawing does not undo processing that already happened lawfully, and certain health records may still need to be kept for the period UAE law requires. If you withdraw consent that is needed for the service, we will explain what that means for your programme before we stop.
Minors
Where a family programme includes anyone under 18, a parent or legal guardian gives consent on their behalf.
